The tile is finally done in the first floor bathroom.
We decided not to do beadboard or board and batten which is fine except my husband painted with it in mind. Hence the paint half way down the wall. I'll just add it to my never-ending "to-do" list. In addition I have to strip the window (kill me now) and then the toilet (angels singing) will finally make its appearance. The first toilet in the house. Can I get a hells yeah!!!!!!!
Tile looks great! It'll be such a nice spot to relax in once its all done!
ReplyDeleteHi Tiffany! Thanks for stopping by my blog yesterday so I could find yours. LOVE this bathroom tile. We're about to start a reno on our master bath and are looking at doing something similar - nice to see it coming together nicely for someone else :)
ReplyDeleteI'll be following along from now on!
The tile is so lovely. I am curious, why did you decide not to do a board and batten? I am thinking of putting one in a bathroom. Is there something I should know?
ReplyDeleteHells yeah! :-) Working toilets are nice.
ReplyDeleteYour tile is beyond beautiful. LOVE.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! It's even prettier in person. Can't wait to put everything together.
ReplyDeleteThey sure are.
ReplyDeleteThe bathroom being done will be one of the highlights of my year. Thanks for stopping by! I'm going to check out your blog as well.
ReplyDeleteIt's so fun/stressful to do a renovation, but so worth it. Looking forward to seeing what you do with your bathroom!
ReplyDeleteI love board and batten and we are doing it in another bathroom. We just couldn't do it in this one because of the sink that we bought. It has a curvy bit that sits against the wall and we didn't know how we were going to end the battens on it. We could've just done the board and batten not incorporating the sink but then there would be a space behind the sink in between the battens. It's confusing, I know, but that's why we didn't do it.
