The Toilet Has Arrived...And The Rest Of The Fixtures.

I can't believe this day has finally come.

It's so hard to get a picture of the whole room.  I know everyone says you shouldn't use flash, but I had to in a few of these pics.  The room is pretty dark (it doesn't help that I took the pictures in the morning) and the lights aren't in yet.

The long awaited toilet.  I'm going to have to come up with something creative on the walls.

The sink is actually a lot larger than I thought it would be.  Lots of room to put soaps etc on which is a good thing since it's a console.

Here's the fabric for the shower curtain.  It looks so good with the green gray walls.

So what do you think?  I'm pretty pleased.  Still some things left to do before I can call this room good.
-Light fixtures
-Shower curtain and some type of window treatment.
-towel bar/toilet paper holder
-Mirror which I bought from Lowe's.  I think I'm going to paint it though.
-Misc decor
-CLEAN!

Not too long of a list in this room which is refreshing.  I'll spare you any more posts on this room until the big reveal.  Hopefully it won't be too much longer (crossing my fingers).  Now to figure out how to take better pictures because mine suck!

  1. I love everything about your bathroom. That sink is beautiful. Lots of room on the top and I love the style you chose, with legs vs the single pedestal. Very inspiring!

  3. I love your classic style, Tiff. Too bad it would look ridiculous in my CA ranch home--otherwise I would fly you out and have you decorate it!

  4. It looks so good. This is where I usually drop the ball. Can't wait to see it finished!

  5. ooooh...now that there is a working toilet, does this mean you can move into the house?

  6. The short answer is no. We're working on the first floor first. The next phase is the master bath/bedroom, laundry room and second floor bath.

  7. Thanks Linda. We're awesome at starting and then not finishing projects as well. I'm determined to get at least one room done though.

  8. Yes, but you get to have an awesome pink bathroom. I wish I could have a house in every style (and the money to buy them).

  9. Thank Janell. We really love it (especially the toilet which is the first one in the house since we started all of this). Thanks so much for stopping by!

  10. Thanks Janet! I love the console sink too. I have to admit that I was a bit worried when I first saw it installed. It looked cartoon big but I think it's because we didn't have anything in the room for so long. Now I'm used to it and it looks great.

  11. This bathroom is SO gorgeous. All that marble! I die!
And the console sink absolutely rocks, but I'm partial because I have one similar to it :)

  12. Carrie, the first time I saw a console sink like this was in a catalogue and I loved it. The next time was in your powder room and it was then that I knew I had to have one!
