2nd Floor Bath Progress-Tile

Well after the inevitable delays and reordering of some tile, the second floor bath is back on track.  The tile was just finished yesterday.

Next up is paint and board and batten.  Will it ever end?  My poor husband is up to his ears in projects around the house, especially since I've asked him to help me with the Color My World Challenge (hee-hee).

Oh, and an update on the powder room stencil.  It sucks a big fat one.  Sorry, but it does.  The smallest room in the house is probably going to take me the longest.  I've almost given up so many times but I've come this far.  I WILL finish it...just not this week.

Any projects that are making you want to pull out every hair on your head or am I the only one?

  3. Love the tile...looks the same/similar to the marble subway tile in our kitchen backsplash. Classic!
I keep thinking about stenciling our powder room, but there are so many other projects on the list...

  4. I feel ya on the powder room stencil! I did it (see it here: http://www.lifeonmarsblog.net/2011/09/powder-room-reveal.html) and it took FOREVER! Just a tip... if you use a roller, it goes much faster.

The bathroom is look AMAZING though! The tile is gorgeous.

  7. This is gorgeous. Can't your husband do stenciling, too? I love the way your home is coming together. I know you must be so frustrated by now, I have been there, but stick with it!

  8. I wish he would do the stenciling, but I'm kind of particular and I know we would end up arguing so best for me to suffer by myself.

  9. Thanks so much Mandy! And trust me, 3 months is nothing. Our kitchen is still not done and it got started last September sometime.

  13. Thanks Melissa. I don't think you can go wrong with marble. It's just so timeless and it fits in with the age and style of our house. Bonus!

That is always where I get bogged down...the last ten percent :-)
