I think the last time I posted about our master bedroom it looked like this. I know what you're thinking. Why in hell is this taking so long? Trust me, I've thought the same thing over and over. But, it's all about schedules and money. Whatever, it is what it is. The good news is that this is what it looks like now.
I'd say that it's a vast improvement. I originally had picked out a different color for a different fabric that I was going to use. The fabric was crazy expensive though and I just can't justify that purchase anymore. I was able to get a great deal on a different expensive fabric which I love equally. I'll save that story for another day. Anyway, the wall color is BM Silver Gray, which looks neither silver nor gray on my walls. I was a little concerned at first. I really don't want my room to like like a young boys room. It's growing on me though and I'm trying to reserve my judgement for when the furniture and decor comes in. The floors (in our bedroom, not the sitting room) will be done this week so we'll actually be able to put our bed in the room. I can't even express to you how exciting this is. I haven't slept on my mattress for almost a year now. The only thing I'm not excited about is the significant downsizing of my closet...wah-wah. Well, you can't have it all I guess.
so you have two

You know, I was telling my husband, I am worried that Tiffany has not finished her bedroom. We were losing sleep over it. ;) It is looking great. That was a smart move on the better deal for fabric....
ReplyDeleteYour bedroom looks lovely and you will need a comfy space soon for the best rest you can get!!
ReplyDeleteAll the trim and the walls look great! I love blue though, so you might not want to take my advice on it.
