Well we finally finished a room. The smallest room in the house. Without further ado...
And just to refresh your memory, here's what we started with.
Before |
And after.
And now for some stats:
Wall color: BM Chelsea Gray and Baby's Breath
Mirror: Thrift store find painted BM Rose Quartz
Light: From Shades of Light (shadesoflight.com)
Roman Shade: Made from Coral fabric with grosgrain ribbon (fabric.com)
Toilet: Lowe's
Vanity: I think it was from Quality Bath, but not 100% sure.
And that's about it. I'm thrilled with how it turned out. One room down, several to go.
Update: I forgot to put the stencil info and I've been getting some questions about it. I bought the stencil from The Stencil Library (http://www.stencil-library.com/docs/cat299.htm). It is the Willow pattern. It's not difficult to work with if you're only putting it on one wall. If you're going around corners get ready to pull all of your hair out;)

It's so pretty Tiffany. I adore the light and the colour of the blind. I loved it even before you finished it though ;) The stencil just makes the look
ReplyDeleteOh wow...I love it! All of it! I know you didn't love doing the stencil, but I may need to try it. That shade, you did a fantastic job. I would love to see it in the up position.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I didn't make the shade though. I don't have those kind of skills;) I didn't photograph it up because it looks right into our neighbors house.
ReplyDeleteThanks Janet! I love how it turned out, but what a pain in the butt that stencil was.
ReplyDeleteGreat job! The room looks so wonderful...that shade choice was perfection!!
ReplyDeleteWow! The room is gorgeous! You got the shade hung so fast :)
ReplyDeleteTiff, that looks FANTASTIC. I love it, esp how the coral pops so brightly against the neutral background. I know the stencil was a pain, but it looks so great. Great job!!!!
ReplyDeleteWOW! it may be the smallest room, but it has MAJOR impact. It looks amazing. I love the wallpaper and the coral is perfect!
ReplyDeleteI love how this turned out! The pops of Rose are just beautiful! What a great little vanity.
ReplyDeleteOkay I.am.dying!!!!!! I love the "rose quartz" color with the wall color! Between the chinoiserie, the window treatment and the painted mirror I don't know which element I like the best! I already pinned this beautiful bathroom before you added that pop or coral and now I'm off to pin it again - it's really lovely, Tiffany!!
ReplyDeleteThis is like a little chinoiserie jewel box! I love everything about it. Are the walls stenciled?
ReplyDeleteYou're bathroom turned out SO SO pretty! Seriously, it looks so good!

What a beautiful job. I saw one of the pictures on Pinterest and thought that looks like my stencil..and it is! The room looks gorgeous and tomorrow I will tell my readers to visit your page. I think they will be inspired. I'd do it now but it's late in the UK and I'm sleepy.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Helen! Everyone who sees my powder room thinks its wallpaper. It's really stunning. I get so many compliments. I visited your site again and was really excited to see the Alice in wonderland stencils. My four year old loves Alice:)
DeleteSo does my husband! He's been an Alice fan forever and he designed the stencils. I tweeted your post and linked from Facebook. I am featuring willow pattern on Designinspiration next week. Whilst I have my blogging hat on, I will schedule to write a blog post on 'how to stencil into corners without tearing your hair out' I am sure that it will help many stencillers!
ReplyDeleteWow, this does look like a tough one. I've actually looked at this stencil for another part of our house but I'm not sure I can do it after my clover experiment :) Love how this turned out, though.
