I'm so thankful for everyone's sweet comments about my guest room. I'm beyond excited about the way it came together.
One thing I didn't mention in my reveal were the sources. Mostly because things were either purchased on CL, Ebay, or at consignment stores. I'm feeling very green right now! Anyway, I can share a few things.
-Fabrics: Brunschwig & Fils Les Touches and Robert Allen Khandar Indigo. The two greek key pillows on
the bed I scored at TJ Maxx.
-Bedding: One Kings Lane-Delfinia Greek Key
-Llama and gold box: Target. I sprayed the llama gold:)
-Tray, cup, bowl, picture frames: Marshalls
-Sheepskin rug: Overstock (Safavieh). Disclaimer on that though. It smells like a dozen rotten eggs shoved up your nose. No joke. I'm hoping it will get better with time.
-Pendant Light: Robert Abbey from Shades of Light.
-Bed throw: Steinmart
-Wallpaper: It's discontinued, but it's Kenneth James from the toile collection.
-Wall color and trim is BM Decorators White.
If I didn't have to carpet the room it really wouldn't have been that much of an expense. A few splurges, but nothing crazy.
Now on to a slice of the talent that was on this round's ORC. The Challenger's rooms were all sooooo good that I couldn't pick a favorite if you paid me. I loved them all and each one deserves to be thoroughly ogled. The Linking participants rocked it as well but I'm just going to highlight a few. After all, there were 75 that linked up!

Tiffany,
ReplyDeleteYou just have to promise to keep on a bloggin'! It's not as if you had two little ones AND a full time job!
Seriously, I've loved getting up to speed reading all you've done. And interesting to me is you've featured just about the same rooms I loved during ORC! Still need to finish reading.

The fact that you transformed your room using my favorite bargain resources makes me love it even more!! You did such a phenomenal job! And the linkups you featured are some of my favorites too... the talent in this ORC was absolutely amazing!! And such fun to meet so many new friends along the way!

Oh my goodness, that small office!! I don't even want a big office now - just that one. Killer transformation.
ReplyDeleteThank you my friend for including me on this list - I am honored considered how amazing the ORCs were! Especially yours - I truly am blown away by all your projects and this room is no exception. That headboard is just magnificent. I tried to comment on this last week but my computer turned blue and shut down…..can you point me in the right direction for a source for the B&F Les Touches fabric and where you get your fabrics in general? I'm ready to tackle the sewing machine Tiffany. You have inspired me with your awesomeness.
