The Latest Happenings...

My poor blog is feeling so abandoned.  I just can't multitask very well.  An infant, 4 year old, and a full time job equals no time to do anything.  I take that back.  It equals time to start but not finish projects here and there.  Here's what's been started.

We just started making the curtain panels for the girls' room.  Obviously they need to be hemmed still.

I'm still working on the girls' hallway, but here's a sneak peak of that.

We're also starting on one of the third floor bedrooms.  Not because we've finished any of the ones on the second floor.  We just need a place to put all the crap that has been in boxes for almost 2 years.  I'll just give you a little taste of what the room looks like...disaster.

And I'm not sure if I ever posted a pic of the master bath which is still about 98% done.  That last 2% is just at a stand still.

Oh, and in between all this there were a few project fails that I won't even mention.  Just a colossal waste of my precious time.  Argh!!!!!  I just take comfort in knowing that I'm not the only busy person who can't seem to get crap done.  Right?  Hello?

  2. Of course not...I always forget that you work full time. That bathroom is stunning, and it is hard to feel bad for anyone who has a third floor :)

  3. Tiffany, I was just thinking about your beautiful bathrooms today when I was talking to my brother, a plumber, about the direction of ours. I hate them but need to bide my time until I can afford that gorgeousness you just shared. It's like a page out if House Beautiful, even with that 2% waiting to be finished!!!

  4. I remember those days so well with little ones underfoot trying to refinish and refurbish an old house with a full time job too....some days it just feels like a well of work....but in the end so worthwhile...even if it took 10 years in our case...lol!

  5. Girl, I feel your pain. Except that I don't even have two little ones to slow me down. Do like I do and shut the door on the rooms still in progress. Then it is like you have a completely finished house. Well, almost :)
