That was a long hiatus, I know. What can I say? Some serious shit went down and I had to get my act together and prioritize. That's the short version and I won't bore anyone with the long one. Anyway, someone commented that they wanted me to come back to see how it all turned out. Ha! I wish it were all done but there has been some progress that I can report. The third floor bedroom and bath that was started eons ago is just about finished, and just in time for a very special Thanksgiving guest. I'll be done with the bathroom for sure this weekend and will put pics up for Monday. For now here's what I worked on this past weekend.
This little cafe curtain took me almost all day. It really wasn't that difficult, but it took me a long time to figure out how the sewing machine worked. Yes, I have a machine but I don't technically sew...at least not until a few days ago. I'm proof that anyone can do this. I'll talk about it a bit more in depth later, but just wanted to share a quick update. Oh, and I left the bathroom pink (duh, it's in the picture) and I'm so happy that I did. I wasn't sure about it at first, but I love it so much I wish it were my bathroom and not the guest bath. My husband may disagree with that statement, but even he really loves how the bathroom is looking. I think that's really saying something;)
